This here is a snap shot of my adorable little niece, Chanel. Her mom, my sister Karla, took her to the park on a nice summer day. And where's my niece right now? Here with me. I'm babysittin' while my sister's at school. And let me tell you...she's a little tornado! But so worth it and cute. If it weren't for my mom (grama), well I'd be tired as heck.

in need of a short vaca

Hi everyone. Today, I had a light-bulb moment (ding). My anniversary is coming up and seeing that my wifey and I always do the same thing; dinner and a movie, I want to do something different. I want to go on a mini roadtrip vacation for a weekend. I'm thinking something close to home with beautiful landmarks. When I figure out where, I'll let you know. I'll even upload videos and photos from where ever I go :)

SUPER EXCITED

Hello everyone! I am super excited because today I officially finished my query letters. I have selected 10 agents and already emailed 3 out of the 10. Tomorrow morning I'm going to snail mail my query to the remainding 7. Woopy for me! I'm not nervous...just a bit anxious. I'm not really a patient person but when it comes to this I will gather patience from where ever! LoL

Writing my query (first draft so far), was a nail-biting process but I am pleased with the end result of it. I had a few close relatives take a look at it and they loved it therefore I'm satisfied. Cross your fingers out there!

To think that a few months ago I was sweating bullets when I lost my USB (with my saved manuscript drafts). I'm smiling over here from ear to ear!
